Meet your photographer
Kiersten Selby

Why choose me?
I truly am a little differently than most photographers.!
I have a psychology degree from UMass, Amherst and spent my previous life as a counselor/high school guidance counselor. I love and understand this age group and have teens of my own.
Making your teen feel comfortable, confident, and "seen" is my goal.
But... I also have art in my blood. My grandfather was a doctor and a painter. My mother came from the fashion industry and creativity runs wild on her side. I grew up surrounded by people who understood that beauty is in the details, the light, the lines...the things many other miss.
This is the combination I bring to every session. I am looking for the things only the people closest to you notice. The way your face lights up right before you laugh. The sparkle in your eye when we talk about the things you love...the little things that make you, YOU. I see what you can’t always see in yourself.
I guide you through every movement, every shift, every small adjustment so you feel comfortable, confident and beautiful. By the end of your session, after I show you the back of the camera, something shifts. You stop asking, “Do I look okay?” and start realizing, “I actually love how I look.”
That’s why you choose me....
Not because I photograph perfect people.
But because I photograph those perfectly imperfect things that make you truly beautiful..
...and because you'll like me better ;)

The Name Rosehill Road...
On Rosehill Road in the Hamptons, sits a magical place where I have spent many summers since birth.
Close your eyes and imagine yourself in a place where the salt air fills your lungs, where the sea breeze blows all the way home on your sandy road stroll to your little white bungalow near the sea. When you arrive, children are running, playing, and laughing. Suntanned generations of family members are sharing a meal around a big long table while salt air blows through the open windows. The evening ends with a game of Scrabble, a debate over politics, or which celebrities were spotted out at the local restaurants last night.
To look at the place, it isn't much, but to me, it is full of moments, precious moments that have shaped generations of my family. It is not perfect, but through my "lens" it is my perfect place full of memories.
I chose to name my business after Rosehill Road, where life is about the little things. My images are truly how I see the world. Often, we miss the little things, I want to make sure you can hold onto those little things for generations to come.
